I don't know anyone who is using one Gord.   It really isn't a first choice for 2wd racing as it doesn't have all the adjustability that the Xerun series does.   It should work ok if you are just trying to get someone going with a vehicle though (if you can fit it in)

I have one of those in my 4mod.  Not really what you were asking but thought I'd mention it.  Seems to work well and easy to program with a card.  It is a little big, but fits in the buggy so a truck should be fine.

It has the same adjustability as a version 2 xerun wouldn't it?  Basic brake, punch, timing, boost, settings? Just be a bigger footprint.

The SCTPRO can handle 1/8 scale motors as well.

When I first started I ran one in my 22SCT and it was good...no problems at all.

I think your right Bob...basic settings, but I don't believe it offers boost.

That's interesting, I've run a version 2 hobbywing in my sct. I was thinking of switching to a sct pro. But not if there's less features.

It has timing but not boost or turbo.

It's really more designed for 4-pole motors where you don't really use the boost or turbo
